Discussion on the Draft “Law on Emergency Management Service”

On May 29, the NATO-Georgia Professional Development Programme in cooperation with the Emergency Management Service of Georgia hosted a round table discussion on the draft Georgian Law on Civil Protection – “Law on Emergency Management Service” (EMS).

The aim of the round table is to allow all relevant Georgian partners and international experts to discuss the draft law prior to the final approval of the Parliament.

The head of the NATO Liaison Office, Ms. Rosaria Puglisi opened the event together with the deputy director of the Emergency Management Service Mr. Shalva Khutsishvili.
