Basic Cyber Hygiene Course

The NATO-Georgia Professional Development Programme in cooperation with the Cyber Security Bureau conducted “Basic Cyber Hygiene Course” on November 22nd, held at the NATO Liaison Office.
 The purpose of the course was to inform participants about existing threats which puts their personal and professional space under the risk of cyber-attack and introduced them to specific steps they can apply in order to improve their security.
 The course covered following topics:

  • Myths about Internet security
  • Tips to improve computer security
  • Security of electronic devices, ATMs and bank cards
  • Security of electronic devices, smartphones.
  • Email security
  • Social Media Security
  • Data security
  • Licensed Software
